A Conversation, First
Every new patient begins with a brief conversation, what brings you in, what you would like to address, what your history has been. There is no rush, and no commitment.

Comprehensive Examination
The doctor will perform a careful examination including periodontal evaluation, oral cancer screening, and any imaging that is clinically indicated. Findings are explained in plain language as we go.

Discussion And Plan
We will discuss what we found, what we recommend, what the alternatives are, and what each option will cost. You leave with a written plan and the time you need to consider it.

Care On Your Timeline
Treatment proceeds at the pace that suits you. Most patients begin with cleanings and any urgent items, then schedule larger work over the months that follow.
Insurance & Financing
We are happy to file insurance on your behalf when you have it. For patients without insurance, the Virginia Dental Club is an excellent annual membership that covers preventive care and provides meaningful discounts on everything else.
For larger treatment we can arrange financing through CareCredit or in-house payment plans. We will go through the numbers clearly so there are no surprises.
Forms
New patient forms will be emailed to you ahead of your first visit. Completing them at home saves time on the day.
What To Bring
- Photo ID and insurance card, if applicable
- List of current medications
- Any recent x-rays from a previous dentist (we can request them)
